Coach Townsend sent the second hockey team through a hard two-hour practice at the Stadium rinks yesterday afternoon. After a long drill in stick-work and shooting, the men scrimmaged for nearly an hour and showed considerable promise of future development. Of the forwards, Kissel and W. W. Rice '18 in particular showed to advantage. Duncan and Ginn appear to be the best of the candidates for the defense positions and Ligett is doing well at goal.
