Novice Wrestling Meet on Friday

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A novice wrestling meet, open to all undergraduates who have not wrestled on a University team, will be held in the Hemenway Gymnasium on Friday afternoon at 4 o'clock. The tournament will be run in classes according to weight, so that every one will have a fair chance to prove his ability. Cups will be awarded to the winners in the different classes. This will be an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in wrestling to get a start, as the winners of the matches in the tournament will be given a chance to make the University team. Freshmen particularly are urged to enter, because if enough Freshmen manifest an interest in wrestling the present plans for a Freshman team, which are under consideration, will be carried out. If a sufficient number of Freshman do come out, a regular schedule with outside teams will be arranged.
