Seniors are reminded of the rule that no student is admitted to a degree until he has returned to the Library all books which he has borrowed; or in default of this has replaced them, or has deposited with the librarian double the money value of the books, or if the books belong to a set or sets, double the money value of the complete set or sets. Seniors are requested to return all books by Monday. Those who return them after Monday should receive from the Librarian at the time of returning the books a certificate of return, which should be shown to the Bursar.
A man who has not returned or replaced his books will not be discharged from his financial responsibility by the Bursar, nor will his bond be released. Students other than Seniors are requested to return all books to the Library before leaving Cambridge for the summer, in order to avoid an accumulating fine.
