Owing to the large number of applications for rooms in Standish Hall by prospective students of the Summer School, it has been decided to open the "Persis" wing of Smith Halls for the use of these students. Approximately 125 persons can, be accommodated in Standish Hall but inasmuch as more than that number have already applied, it has been thought necessary to open another dormitory.
All the students will take their meals in the Smith Halls Dining Room which has a capacity of slightly over 225. This will give a limited number of outside students the opportunity of boarding here.
The rooms on the top floor of Standish Hall will probably not be assigned on account of the discomfort of them during extremely hot wather. The College will furnish all rooms with lines and towels, as well as the necessary heavy furniture.
