Dudley Clock in Place Friday

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The final stage in the completion of the new Dudley Memorial Gate was started yesterday, when the work of installing the clock was commenced. The hands and dial works are already in place, the flooring is practically completed, and if things continue to run smoothly, the clock will be brought out Friday and set in its place in the basement of the tower. The present expectation is that the clock will be running next Monday, although it will not be striking for a few days after that.
