For the first time men on the Yale second crew will be awarded their "Y." This applies to Seniors rowing on the second crew and to other men who have rowed two years on the second, the awarding of such letters being retroactive on last year's second eight. This action was largely the result of the substitution of the second eight-oared race for the four-oar, which lessened the number of men who could win their "Y" in crew.
