In the first game of the northern division of the Intercollegiate Lacrosse League Saturday, the University team defeated Stevens Institute 13 to 1. The game, though one-sided, was fast throughout. Fleming, at inside home, played brilliantly, scoring four goals. Captain Nightingale, Lucas, and Persons also put up a good game for the University. Edwards, at goal, and Captain Hill did the best work for the visitors. Persons received a bad cut over the eye in the second half, and was forced to leave the game.
