Freshmen Tied Exeter in Golf

The Freshman golf team played the Exeter team to a tie on the Merrimac Valley course at Lowell on Saturday afternoon.

The results of the matches were as follows: H. D. Bassett '18 lost to R. M. Markham (2 and 4), W. H. Russell '18 lost to R. Bensinger (1 down), R. W. Hoskier '18 won from D. A. Mercer (1 up), R. S. Tufts '18 tied A. C. Cooper (matched called to allow Exeter to catch their train), C. W. Timpson '18 won from E. B. Duncan (4 and 5). The team's next match is with Newton High at Oakley course this afternoon.
