The final matches in the Harvard Interscholastic Tennis Tournament, which were postponed yesterday on account of the weather, will be played off on the championship court, Holmes Field, this afternoon. R. Rand, of St. Mark's, will play C. H. Beasley, of Stearns School, in the semi-finals at 1.45 o'clock, and the winner will meet S. Thayer, of Andover, who was also a finalist last year, in the final round for the interscholastic championship title at 3.30 o'clock.
The championship shield for the school which wins the greatest number of points on the basis of the one point for each match won has been awarded to Andover since that school already has a lead of five points over Exeter, the nearest competitor, and if Thayer wins the finals this lead will be increased.
