GOLFERS PLAY AT FALL RIVER

Seven Men Will Try to Break Long-Standing Tie Between Teams.

The University golf team will leave the Square at noon today for Fall River where they are to play a match with the Fall River Golf Club this afternoon. The University team has played Fall River for several years but every match so far played has resulted in a tie and in order that this year's match may be decisive seven men will be taken on the trip. This is the team's third game of the season, the other games having resulted in a defeat and a tie for the University. The team will play in the following order: Captain E. P. Allis '15, L. H. Canan '17, J. G. Heyburn '16, J. W. Hubbell '17, G. A. McCook '16, H. D. Bassett '18, and J. I. Wylde '17.

In the final match for the University championship played between E. P. Allis '15 and H. D. Bassett '18, yesterday afternoon at the Oakley Country Club, Allis won the first 18 holes, 6 up. The other 18 holes will be played sometime next week.
