The Student Council is shirking its plain duty to country, to College, and to undergraduate. After a year of success, it has fallen flat in a crucial crisis. It has not heeded the summery twittering of the birds, nor the appearance of the succulent strawberry and the white flannel pant. In short it has not recognized the fact that the season of boaters is again with us.

The CRIMSON therefore rises in its editorial might, and proclaims that Saturday, May fifteenth, shall be Straw Hat Day throughout the joyous land of Cambridge.
