Club Crews Out Today.
The Eliot and Thayer Clubs call out candidates for their crews today. The season will last just three weeks and end with races in the Harvard Invitation Regatta on May 29 and 31. Last fall the club crew rowing was a success, each club being represented by four eights and a four-oar. All candidates are to report this afternoon at Weld boathouse at 4.30 o'clock. Coach Brown who has charge of the men, will-outline the work.
Regatta Entries Close Today.
Today is the last day for entering the Harvard Invitation Regatta. Blue-books for the sculling races (Junior class, 140-pound class, and Carroll Cup), wherry race, and double sculls race are in Leavitt & Peirce's, Weld and Newell boathouses, H. A. A. Office, and the Union. Men signing the blue-books must be in good standing with the Office, and also have passed the required strength test.
