1918 TRACK TEAM FACES ANDOVER

Inexperienced Freshman Squad Ready for First Meet of Season.

The Freshman track team will compete with Phillips Andover Academy in the first meet of their spring season this afternoon at Andover. Twenty-two men will make the trip. Although the material has been distinctly inexperienced this season, the team has developed and is now well rounded out. L. K. Moorehead, captain of the 1918 cross-country team last fall, who is entered in the mile, and C. S. Babbitt, in the pole-vault, have shown especially good form in the preliminary work and much is expected of them.

100-yard dash.--W. Moore, E. E. Silver.

220-yard dash.--G. W. Merwin, E. E. Silver.

120-yard hurdles.--L. B. Means, A. E. Rowse.

880-yard run.--J. Coggeshall, G. R. Cogswell, J. A. Erickson, T. R. Morse.

One-mile run.--C. W. W. Heffinger, C. N. Hollis, L. K. Moorehead.

440-yard dash.--V. F. Likens, D. M. Little.

High jump.--M. L. Chase, M. L. Dickenson, P. D. Jones.

Broad jump.--H. Davis, W. Hicks, P. D. Jones.

Shot-put.--M. L. Dickenson, R. Horween, J. Lathrop, W. B. Snow.

Hammer-throw.--J. Lathrop.
