The annual Freshman fencing meet will be held in the fencing room of the Hemenway Gymnasium this afternoon at 5 o'clock. All Freshmen are eligible to compete but those who are not members of the University Fencers' Club will be required to pay an entrance fee of $1. Blue-books are posted in the Gymnasium and at Leavitt and Peirce's, where all contestants should enter their names before 4 o'clock this afternoon. The meet will be at foils, and the winner will be awarded a silver cup by the University Fencers' Club, under whose auspices the meet is being held. All contestants should provide themselves with mask, protector, and glove.
