A general shake-up of the second University boat took place yesterday. Only three out of nine men retained their places. These were captain E. W. Soucy '16 at 5, R. R. Brown '17 at stroke, and A. A. Cameron, coxswain.
H. H. Meyer '15 replaced W. Richardson '17, who has rowed on the crew all this spring, at number 7. Meyer has been out for a few weeks on account of illness. K. P. Culbert '17, former Sophomore crew man, is now at 4 where H. S. Middendorf '16 originally was. He has in turn taken W. S. Ely's position at six. J. Talcott '16 has moved from two to three, an important shift since it involves his pulling a starboard instead of a port oar. F. W. Busk '16 has been moved from bow to number two. F. H. L. Whitmarsh '16, who has been on the Junior crew, now occupies the bow position. The final order is as follows:
Second crew.--Stroke, Brown; 7, Meyer; 6, H. S. Middendorf; 5, Soucy; 4, Culbert; 3, Talcott; 2, Busk; bow, Whitmarsh; cox., Cameron.
