Freshman Debaters Chosen

Two practice debates were held by the Freshman candidates last week, and the final list of men who will form the team which will debate with the Yale and Princeton freshmen has been announced. The date of the debate has been fixed for May 7. The 1918 negative team will meet the Princeton affirmative in the New Lecture Hall, and the 1918 affirmative team will meet the Yale negative at New Haven. The question for the debate is "Resolved, That the United States should abolish the Monroe Doctrine as part of its foreign policy."

The following are the men who have been selected for the teams: P. Benton, I. Brentano, D. Davis, W. S. Murphy, N. Muskin, W. L. Prosser, W. M. Silverman, H. S. Walker, and E. Weissbuch.
