THIRD CONTEST ON HOME GROUNDS WILL BE PLAYED IN STADIUM AT FOUR.

The University baseball nine will battle with Bates on Soldiers Field at 4 o'clock this afternoon in the third game of the season on the home grounds. The team defeated the Maine men last season by a score of 2 to 1 in one of the fastest games of the season. Although there are only four veterans on the Bates team this year, the initial showing has been good and a game up to the mark of last year may be expected.

Coach Sexton will start the game with Whitney in the box while Mahan will be in centre field. The batting orders are: HARVARD.  BATES.
