H. W. Minot '17, who has been a valuable man in the middle distances on the track team, will not be able to represent the University this year. He was operated on for appendicitis last year and the wound is bothering him this spring.
E. A. Teschner '17 has been forced to leave practice for a few days on account of slight pains in his side. Dr. Nichols, however, believes that Teschner will be out within a week and able to resume his work in the 100-yard and 220-yard dashes.
Captain M. Shedden of the Yale track team, worked out in the Stadium yesterday, taking advantage of this chance to practice during the spring vacation at New Haven.
