Harvard Students To Vote on Divestment From Israel in Inaugural HUA Election Survey
At a meeting of the third year class of the Law School yesterday, the following were nominated for marshal and secretary of the class:
For marshal -- Chauncey Belknap, of Morristown, N. J.; George Knox Cracraft, of Readland, Ark.; Branton Halstein Kellogg, of Brookline; Robert Porter Patterson, of Glens Falls, N. Y.; Clarence Belden Randall, of Cambridge; Alexander Campbell Tener, of Sewickley, Pa.; and Oliver Wolcott, of Readville.
For secretary--Warren Milton Briggs, of Portsmouth, O.; James Garfield, of Williamstown; Francis Calley Gray, of Chestnut Hill; Clarence Belden Randall, of Cambridge; Carroll Brewster Rhoades, of Philadelphia, Pa.; and Alexander Campbell Tener, of Sewickley, Pa.
The elections will be held on Thursday, April 29. The committee will decide later on the method of voting.
The following third-year men have been appointed to take charge of the elections: Horace Eugene Allen, of Swanton, Vt.; Jay Bernard Angevine, of Brookline; Lawrence Berenson, of Boston; Paul Yakey Davis, of Bloomfield, Ind.; Herman Siefke, Jr., of Brooklyn, N. Y.
To avoid having their names printed on the ballots in case they do not wish to run for office, candidates should withdraw before tomorrow noon by notifying a member of the above committee.
