At a meeting of the Overseers of the University on Monday, April 12, the following appointments were made: John Lovett Morse, Professor of Pediatrics; Charles Montraville Green, Professor emeritus of Obstetrics and Gynaecology; Gregory Paul Baxter, Professor of Chemistry; Oliveira Lima, Professor of Latin American History; Alexander Quackenboss, Assistant Professor of Opthalmology; Lawrence Joseph Henderson, Assistant Professor of Biological Chemistry; Charles Townsend Copeland, Assistant Professor of English; William Guild Howard, Assistant Professor of German; Harvey Nathaniel Davis, Assistant Professor of Physics; Arthur Edwin Norton, Assistant Professor of Engineering Drawing; Edwin Bissell Holt, Assistant Professor of Psychology; Henry Wyman Holmes, Assistant Professor of Education; Grinnell Jones, Instructor in Chemistry; Henry Wheatland Litchfield, Instructor in Greek and Latin.
The following additional members were appointed to the Administrative Board of the Graduate Schools of Medicine: Robert Williamson Lovett, Charles Locke Scudder, and Frederick Taylor Lord. The following preachers were appointed: Edward Caldwell Moore, chairman, ex-officio, of the Board of Preachers to the University; Albert Parker Fitch, Paul Revere Frothingham, George Alexander Johnston Ross, Elwood Worcester, and Charles Whitney Gilkey.
