Members of the Freshman class will do well to follow the advice given them at their meeting last Tuesday by President Lowell and Professor Parker, to consider seriously their field of concentration. The business of choosing this field is a serious one; on the decision depends much of the success of a college course. This is a matter to be considered during the spring vacation, and to be discussed with parents or other competent advisers. Very little time remains after the vacation to decide this matter, and it should be taken up as soon as possible.

Above all, each Freshman should make a point of seeing his adviser before vacation and of talking over his course with him. This much at least should not the neglected.
