FIRST CONTEST WITH BOWDOIN

UNIVERSITY TEAM FACES NEARLY SAME TEAM IT DEFEATED LAST YEAR.

The University baseball team will play Bowdoin at Soldiers Field this afternoon at 4 o'clock in the first college game of the season. Bowdoin will present practically the same team that the University defeated 5 to 1 last year, the only changes being Bradford at second base and Phillips in the outfield.

Coach Sexton will use the same line-up that he sent against the Braves with Willcox, Frye, and Garritt alternating in the box. Mahan may be used in the outfield on account of his hitting ability.

Tickets at 25 cents each for general admission may be obtained at the H. A. A. Office, Leavitt & Peirce's, or the gate. Season tickets, which may be bought at $3.00 each at the H. A. A. Office and Leavitt & Peirce's, and the regular H. A. A. ticket book will admit to the grandstand. There will be no reserved seats.
