FIVE LECTURES ON CHURCH POLITY

Series Under Southworth Foundation Will Commence on April 27.

The Southworth lectures for 1914-15 will be delivered by the Reverend Ambrose White Vernon, D.D., Minister of the Harvard Church, Brookline, in Room A. Andover Theological Seminary, on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, beginning April 27. They will be given at 4.30 o'clock, and will be open to the public.

The general subject will be "Landmarks in the History of Church Polity."

The dates and titles of the separate lectures are as follows:

April 27.--"The Beginnings of the Church."

April 29.--"The Beginnings of the Christian Ministry."

May 4.--"The Beginnings of National Churches."

May 6.--"The Beginnings of the Free Churches."

May 11.--"The Contribution of Congregationalism to Church Polity."
