Contest With Ex-University Players at 3 o'clock. -- Nine Will Meet Braves on Monday.

A practice game for the University baseball team will take place this afternoon with a team composed chiefly of ex-University players. The game which will take place on Soldiers Field at 3 o'clock, will be the last try-out for the team before its game with the Boston Nationals, at Fenway Park on Monday. Tickets for the latter game will be put on sale today at Filene's, at prices ranging from 25 cents to $1.50.

The teams will line up this afternoon, as follows:

University.--s.s., Reed; 2b., Abbot; 1b., Nash: r.f., Gannett; c., Harte, Waterman; c.f., Brickley; c.f., or p., Mahan; c.f., or p., Frye (captain); l.f., Coolidge; 3b., Fripp. Also pitchers: Garritt, Whitney, Willcox.

Graduates.--s.s., Wingate; l.f., Babson; 2b., Norton; c.f., Deininger; 1b., McLoughlin; c., Reeves; r.f., White; 3b., Martin; p., Bidewell.

Practice yesterday afternoon consisted in a game between teams A and B resulting in a one to nothing victory for team A. J. T. Beal '17 received a pitched ball on the temple and was taken to the Infirmary.
