To the Editors of the CRIMSON:
Through your columns the class of 1909 has been informed many times that May 1 was the date on which to begin wearing caps and gowns. Notices have been inserted to the effect that those caps and gowns were ready to wear. I find, however, one day from the time that the caps and gowns should be worn only one hundred and fifty men out of the whole class have even procured their gowns from the Co-operative. Whether the custom of wearing the gowns is a good one will not be discussed here but as long as nothing to the contrary has been done about the matter I presume that the custom will be maintained. Lack of co-operation in anything of course mars the final result and I sincerely hope that this appeal will at least wake up the Senior class to certain of their responsibilities and that on Saturday there will be a full dress parade of caps and gowns. W. G. WENDELL.
