SUNDAY CONCERT IN UNION

UNIVERSITY MEN AND PROFESSIONAL ARTISTS TO SUPPLY SERIOUS MUSIC

A concert will be given on Sunday in the Union at 4 o'clock, and every Sunday afternoon through March and the first part of April. At these concerts, which will be devoted purely to music of a serious nature, men of performing ability in College, and a few professional artists will play. This Sunday, a quartet made up of D. T. Gammons '18, first violin; A. Belden '16, second violin; A.S. Coolidge '15, viola, and W.R. Miller '16, cello, will present the following program:

Tschaikovski, Quartet in D, Opus II.

1. Moderato e semplice.

2. Andante cantabile.

3. Allegro non tanto e confuoco.

4. Allegro giusto.

Schumann, Quartet in F, Opus 41.

Two movements.

1. Andante espressivo--allegro.

2. Presto.
