The golf outlook this year is unusually promising, as six letter men are expected to be playing this spring. These men are Captain J.G. Heyburn '16, E. P. Allis, 3d, '15, S. P. Griffits '15, R.M. Baker '15, L.H. Canan '17, and J.W. Hubbell '17. At the intercollegiate tournament in September of next fall, however, the three men from the class of 1915 will not be able to compete, because they will no longer be members of the University. Other promising men for the team are: G. A. McCook '16, G.A. McKinlock '16, P.W. Simons '16, and G. Gwathmy '18.
All men who played in the intercollegiate tournament this fall are eligible for the matches this spring. Freshmen can play on the team in matches against country, clubs, but not against colleges. The trials will be held just before the spring vacation.
