The Forum met last night to discuss the following question: "Resolved, That beer shall not be served at class functions." When the vote was taken at the end of the meeting each division massed 75 votes. The chairman, J.T.L. Jeffries '15, did not vote so that the question is still undecided.

H.M. Thurston '17 opened the argument for the side against beer with the assertion that prohibition was not the issue, but whether the serving of beer at class functions should be officially recognized.

C.F. Farrington '16 stated the position of the men who believed in keeping the custom of allowing a man his choice of beer or ginger ale.

The other speakers followed these arguments. A general opinion was that the question should be put to a class vote.
