GYMNASTS COMPETE FOR TITLE

UNIVERSITY OPPOSES NINE TEAMS IN INTERCOLLEGIATE MEET AT NEW YORK.

The seventeenth annual intercollegiate gymnastic meet will be held in the Columbia gymnasium tonight at 7.30 o'clock. The University team, composed of D. Campbell '17, W. Campbell '16, Captain M. F. Gates '15, and R. G. McPhail '15 will leave for New York on the 10.05 train this morning. Nine other colleges--Amherst, Brown, Columbia, New York University, University of Pennsylvania, Princeton, Rutgers, and Yale--are entered in the meet, and the result will probably be very close. New York University was the winner last year with Pennsylvania second.

The events and University entries are as follows:

Horizontal bar.--D. Campbell '17, W. Campbell '16, M. F. Gates '15.

Side horse.--W. Campbell '16, M. F. Gates 15.

Parallel bars.--D. Campbell '17, W. Campbell '16, M. F. Gates '15.

Flying rings.--W. Campbell '16, M. F. Gates '15.

Tumbling.--M. F. Gates '15, R. G. McPhail '15.
