The first crew closed up the distance by a spurt at the Anderson bridge, gained three lengths on the stretch to Harvard bridge and finished with this lead in spite of a good spurt by the second at the end.
The orders:
First University crew.--Stroke, Lund; 7, Cabot; 6, Parson; 5, J. W. Middendorf; 4, Harwood; 3, Stebbins; 2, Morgan; bow, Murray (captain); cox., Kreger.
