NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Twenty-seven candidates for the Lacrosse team reported last evening at the meeting in the Trophy Room of the Union. Captain W. E. Nightingale '15 introduced the speakers who were Dr. D. A. Sargent, P. Gustafson '12, R. S. Simmons '13 and N. B. Lincoln '13. Dr. Sargent gave a brief resume of the history of the game, and pointed out its physical value. The others emphasized the necessity of having the winning spirit. The schedule this year is an unusually interesting one, there being a Western trip in addition to the usual Southern one. It is hoped that many who could not attend the meeting will report for the first practice today at 3.30.
