Denegre Still Yale Crew Captain

New Haven, Conn, March 18.--Captain Denegre tonight issued the following formal statement.

In regard to notices I have seen in the public press, although I shall not be able to row this year, I have not resigned the captaincy of the Yale crew, and have not determined what action I shall take. There has been no meeting for the election of my successor in the event of my resigning.
