WON FIVE FIRSTS IN ANNUAL CONTEST.--SECOND PLACE TO ANDOVER.

The third annual interscholastic gymnastic meet held in Hemenway Gymnasium Saturday night was won by Exeter, with a total of 43 points, leading in five of the six events. Andover was second with 11 points; Brookline High School third, with 7 points; Worcester Academy and Newton High School tied for fourth with 2 points each; Watertown High School was last with 1 point.

The result of the events was as follows:

Parallel bars--Won by Atha (E.); second, Elwood (A); third, tie between Johnson (E.) and Lamson (E.).

Horizontal bar--Won by Nevin (E.); second, Beers (E.); third, Lamson (E.).

Club swinging.--Won by Anderson (E.); second, Garside (E.); third, Durkee (Wor.); fourth, Dunn (E.).

Side-horse--Won by Atha (E.); second, Peck (A.); third, Woodworth (N.); fourth, Drake (Watertown).

Flying rings--Won by Stewart (B.); second, Peck (A.); third, Nelson (B.); fourth, Beers (E.).

Tumbling--Won by Atha (E.); second, Nevin (E.); third, Rogers (E.); fourth, Elwood (A.).
