A plan is now well under way for the organization of a graduate band which will consist of graduates of the University and any undergraduates who may be interested. R. W. Dibble '01, H. E. Garceau '05, L. G. del Castillo '14, G. T. Spencer '13, and W. N. Hewitt 1G., the present conductor of the Pierian Sodality, are the main promoters of the scheme, but there are many others interested; it is hoped that the Harvard Club of Boston will stand back of the venture when it is better organized.
The present plan is to make the organization a permanent institution, which will draw its material chiefly from the Pierian Scdality. It will play at club meetings, football games, boat races, and other similar affairs.
