The fielding candidates for the Freshman baseball team will be called out the first of April, at which time H. E. Reeves '12, who coached the Freshmen last year, will take charge of the squad. The Freshman catchers are already working in two groups of five men each under the direction of Dr. Sexton.

Fielding candidates for the University team will report Monday afternoon to continue the work of last fall. The University battery candidates are practicing in the Cage every day until dark. Among the new men J. A. Gilman '16 is showing an unusual amount of speed and promises to develop into one of the first string pitchers.
