Boats Had Short Row Down-Stream to Cambridge Bridge Yesterday.

The first three Freshman crews were on the water yesterday afternoon, the third crew for the first time. They rowed down-stream to the Cambridge Bridge and back a short distance above the beathouse. The order of the three crews was:

First crew.--Stroke, Taylor; 7, Quimby; 6, Pope; 5, Nathan; 4, Davis; 3, Mackie; 2, Parker; bow, Brazer; cox., Place.

Second crew.--Stroke, Wiggin; 7, Knauth; 6, Burr; 5, Williams; 4, Olyphant; 3, Reid; 2, Franklin; bow, Dickey; cox., Jackson.

Third crew.--Storke, Lund; 7, Ogborne; 6, Holt; 5, Gray; 4, Cabot; 3, Cebb; 2, Reynolds; bow, Putnam; cox., Brunswick.

The fourth crew will go out for the first time this afternoon. Yesterday the University substitutes were divided into two four-oafed crews.
