UNIVERSITY GLEE CLUB LOST

In the second annual Intercollegiate Glee Club Meet, which was held in Carnegie Hall, New York, Saturday night, Dartmouth received the unanimous decision of the judges--Professor Horatio Parker of Yale; Mr. Arthur Mees, conductor of the New York Mendelssohn Glee Club; and Mr. Arthur D. Woodruff, conductor of the University Glee Club of New York. Columbia received honorable mention. This gives Dartmouth the first leg of the handsome silver trophy presented by the University Glee Club of New York. To secure permanent possession of this trophy a club must win it three times.

The University Glee Club gave a beautiful rendition of "Ave Maria" by Thomas L. da Vittoria, as well as the "Serenade" by Haydn and a medley of football songs.

Dartmouth sang "Mammy's Lullaby" by C. C. Spross, "Swords out for Charlie" by F. F. Bullard, and "Winter Song" by F. F. Bullard.
