The University did exceedingly well on Saturday in the big local event of the winter track season,--the B. A. A. games. The long distance relay team not only won from Yale, making it six victories to Yale's making it six victories to Yale's five, but established a new dual record. The defeat of Cornell was also more than satisfactory. While this showing may not indicate much about the general strength of the coming track team, the year has at least been begun in a distinctly hopeful way.
