The Junior class crew went out on the river for the first time this season yesterday afternoon. The order of the crew was as follows: Stroke, Chichester; 7, Foster; 6, Jefferies; 5, Volkmann; 4, Buffum; 3, French; 2, Graham; bow, Whitmarsh; cox, Packard.
The first University crew rowed about six miles, while the second University, the Sophomore, and the Junior crews went up-stream as far as the Watertown Arsenal. In the second University boat Meyer replaced Sweetser at 7, and Richardson took Jeffries' place at 3.
