The Harvard Freshman hockey team won a decisive victory over the Yale freshmen by the score of 11 goals to 4 at the Arena last night. The University Freshmen kept the playing in their opponent's territory most of the time and clearly surpassed their opponents in all departments o the game, but their clever stick-work and excellent team-play were the most important factors.

Yale started off with a rush. Captain Gould got clear after a quick jump in front of the Freshman goal and scored after 1 minute, 58 seconds of play. Harvard did not stay behind long, however, as Percy tied the score on a pass from Thacher about a minute later. Taylor then put Harvard in the lead after receiving a pass from Morgan. Percy made a long dash down the ice and scored Harvard's third goal. The last goal of the half was made by Taylor after skating half the length of the rink. Score: Harvard 5, Yale 1.

DeRham and Percy scored for Harvard early in the second half. Armour then scored Yale's second goal on a pass from Gould. Percy scored two more goals soon after. Rice, Pratt, Folsom, and Martin were then substituted. Armour then scored two goals for Yale by brilliant individual work. The final goal of the game was scored by Percy on a pass from Thacher.

The summary:

Score--Harvard Freshmen 11; Yale Freshmen 4. Goals--For Harvard, Percy 6, Taylor 2, deRham 2. Condon; for Yale, Armour 3, Gould.
