The organization meeting of an association of Harvard farmers will be held in the Union Tuesday evening at 8 o'clock, under the joint auspices of the Union and the Undergraduate Economics Society. The two-fold purpose of this meeting is to point out to students the opportunities of agriculture as a vocation, and to create a formal organization among alumni engaged in farming. The final list of speakers and their subjects is as follows: "Rural Organization", by the Hon. Carl Vrooman '94, of Washington, D.C., Assistant Secretary of Agriculture; and "The College and the Farmer", by Clyde L. Davis, Secretary of the Sand Hill Board of Trade, Aberdeen, N. C. Professor T. N. Carver will preside. The meeting will be open to members of the Union, the Under graduate Economics Society, and all alumni interested.
For the convenience of graduates who wish to attend the meeting, a special dinner at $1 per plate will be served in the Union at 6 o'clock. Applications for the dinner should be addressed to F.H. Evans '15, Holworthy 22.
