Interesting Book Shop for Yale

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A unique establishment was opened to Yale men in New Haven yesterday in "The Brick Row Print and Book Shop." It is incorporated by a group of graduates, desirous of offering undergraduates the chance of forming a discriminating acquaintance with old prints, and of coming to love old books. This new shop, opened in the rear of the new brick building on High street, which already houses Yale's publishing interests, promises to be an interesting step in Yale literary activities.

"The Brick Row Print and Book Shop" will be conducted along lines similar to those of the well-known book and print shops of England and of New York. E. Byrne Hackett, for the past six years director of the Yale University Press, has resigned to accept the management of the shop. Mr. Hackett will continue his connection with the University Press in an advisory capacity.
