The figures for the first three days of enlisting for the University battalion show a total of 1,102 volunteers. A committee, consisting of Wells Blanched '16 (chairman), C. C. Lund, '16, and A. B. Roosevlet '17 left for New York last night to confer with General Leonard Wood M. D. '84, about plans for the organization of the battalion.
