The first 1917 Smoker will be held in the Living Room of the Union on Thursday evening. C. A. Coolidge '17, president of the class, R. Baldwin '17, J. E. P. Morgan '17, captain of the University hockey team, W. H. Meeker '17, and J. I. Wylde '17, will speak. Arrangements have been made whereby a very entertaining program of "movies" will be shown. These will include a two-reel Charlie Chaplin, a western picture, and some "Animated Cartoons" by Bray.
There will be an abundance of the usual refreshments, including beer, cider, ginger ale, and cigarettes. Adequate arrangements have been made by the committee to have everyone served expeditiously so that the crowding and delay of the past two years will be avoided.
