The captain of the 1916 football team will be elected today and the result announced at the dinner of football men and coaches in the Varsity Club this evening at 6.30 o'clock. This will be the last official meeting of players and coaches of the 1915 team.
Anyone who has won his "H" in University football is, strictly speaking, eligible for the captaincy, but as the choice usually falls on some member of the Junior class, the 1917 men who played in the Yale game this fall are the logical candidates for captain of next season's eleven. They are as follows: C. A. Coolidge, Jr., H. H. Dadmun, G. A. Gilman, J. C. Harris, R. Harte.
