The Farmers' Club will hold its first meeting of the year this evening in the Trophy Room of the Union at 7.30 o'clock. Professor T. N. Carver will talk to the members of various phases of agricultural economy and E. R. Rutter '16, treasurer of the club will speak on his experiences at Amherst while working with the clubs for rural development and will also describe the club of undergraduates at the Massachusetts Agricultural College which is to be affiliated with the Harvard Farmers' Club.
The Farmers' Club was organized last year for the purpose of helping undergraduates who intend to take up farming as a business on graduation and also undergraduates who are interested in agricultural economy, to become better acquainted with each other and to discuss rural problems.
