Two University teams which had hard battles before them were victorious last Saturday. The cross-country team, for its defeat of Yale, and the football team for its well-earned victory over Princeton, receive the hearty congratulations of all undergraduates. The eleven, after a not very encouraging early season, repaired handsomely for its former slump by defeating the strongest team Princeton has had in recent years. That the University will be prepared to meet them in as strong a spirit cannot be doubled.
