ATTRACTIVE PROGRAM AT FIRST WHITING CONCERT

Bach and Handel included in Opening Recital of Series in Music Building Tonight.

Mr. Arthur Whiting will give the first concert in his series of Expositions of Chamber Music in the John Knowles Paine Concert Hall of the Music Building this evening at 8.15 o'clock. These concerts are open only to members of the University. No charge will be made for admission.

Mr. Whiting will present the following program, assisted by a string orchestra of twelve from the Symphony Society of New York. Miss Helen Jeffrey and Miss Rosalie Miller will be solo violinists.

Bach, Clavier Concertos in F minor and G minor.

Bach, Double violin concerto in D minor.

Handel, Rameau, Dances, for string orchestra.

The succeeding concerts of the series will be given on the following Thursday evenings once a month: December 16, January 20, February 17, and March 30.
