Princeton Adopts Board Exams.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Princeton has followed the example of Harvard and Yale in adopting the entrance examinations of the college entrance examination board, in place of its own examinations. In order that Princeton may hold its examinations at the same time that the University and Yale hold theirs, the Princeton board of trustees has decided to open college one week later than has been the custom heretofore. By this change, the dates of the academic year will be practically the same at the three universities, making possible the use of the board examinations in September as well as in June.

Princeton is the last of the big eastern colleges to adopt the entrance requirements of the College Board.
