Practice yesterday afternoon was marked by a long session at the tackling dummies, for the first time since early in the season. This was due to the noticeable weakness in that department against Penn. State on Saturday. Coach Haughton gave the men a long blackboard talk early in the afternoon, and this was followed by a half-hour's individual work. Practice in kicking and receiving punts for the backs completed the preliminary workout. With Gilman back in the line-up and Dadmun displacing Cowen at guard, the University team scrimmaged with the seconds for the rest of the afternoon. King scored the only touchdown. The second team was able to gain a little, but could not get within scoring distance. McKinlock took part in the scrimmage, and Weatherhead was also on the field but did not play.

The team lined up as follows: l.e., Soucy; l.t., Gilman; l.g., Dadmun; c., Wallace; r.g., Taylor; r.t., Parson; r.e., Harte; q.b., Watson; l.h.b., Boles, McKinlock; rh.b., King; f.b., Mahan.
